got bored today and wanted to try something different with my bike, since last race was an upset

just cut my silancer in half and upped the main jet one size to a 180

back yard test shows its a bit louder and vibrates a little more it seems

tomorrow practise at area51 very fast track lots of elevation with good traction dirt.
i'll post how the mods turned out tomrrow for those who care

......until you pull the piston once it blows up and realize that maybe you should have re-jetted it too! :getdrunk:

Not sure what difference chopping a silencer will make, the noise - well, that's self explanatory - less length, less packing = more noise, I'd think it might have a slight impact on back pressure which may make the bike run leaner thus the slight increase in power....therefore, my comment above because if it's TOO lean....kaboom!!!
